The Cutest Romantic Couple of All Time 2.0

Fully revised and enhanced redraw of My Most Viewed Masterpiece To Date   

I believe that Fievel Mousekewitz from Don Bluth's "An American Tail" and Olivia Flaversham from Walt Disney's "The Great Mouse Detective" are meant for each other as they are very similar for many reasons which makes them a perfectly cute couple.  

Here are a few of the many similarities between Fievel and Olivia:

1. They both have loving fathers who give them special presents on special days. (Papa Mousekewitz gave Fievel his blue Kashket hat on Hanukkah while Hiram Flaversham gave Olivia a clockwork ballerina doll on her birthday)

2. They are both tragically separated from their families in their respective movies. (Fievel got washed overboard to New York while Olivia's father got kidnapped by Fidget)

3. They both hug as a way of saying thank you. However, the one they hug is usually annoyed. (Olivia hugs Basil while Fievel hugs Tony)

4a. They can both easily become friends with big cats and dogs. (Fievel becomes friends with Tiger while Olivia becomes friends with Toby)

4b: They even scratch their itchy spots.

5. They both love going on adventures. (Fievel's adventure of finding his family and Olivia's adventure of solving a mystery with Basil)

6. They both are heroes. (Fievel's plan of scaring the cats of New York away while Olivia tells Basil that her dad is kidnapped and noticed Ratigan and stops him from taking over England)

7. They can stand up to the villains. (Fievel says that Warren is a cat, not a rat, while Olivia says that Basil is not afraid of a big, ugly, rat like Ratigan)

8a. They bite the villains if necessary. (Fievel bites Warren, Chief McBrusque and Twitch while Olivia bites Ratigan)

8b. They also stomp on the villain. (Fievel steps on Chief McBrusque while Olivia steps on Fidget)

9. They both get curious on a lot of things, even though it leads them to danger. (Fievel gets curious on the fish while Olivia gets curious on the bubbles)

10. They also got captured by the villains twice in their respective movies. (Fievel gets captured first by Moe and second by Warren while Olivia gets captured first by Fidget and second by Ratigan)

11. They also got some help with some adults. (Fievel has Tony, Bridget, Tiger, Wylie and Nellie while Olivia has Basil and Dr. Dawson)

12. They also reunited with their families in some parts of their respective movies. (Fievel was reunited with his family in the end of “An American Tail” while Olivia was reunited with her father in the middle of “The Great Mouse Detective”)

13. Even though this is not really an excuse, they both also wear big but gorgeous blue hats lol

I love those two so much that it touched my heart when seeing them together and Phillip Glasser and Susanne Pollatschek (their only acting roles to date due to their short careers) shine in their voice roles   Thus, you can tell that the clipart of Fievel and Olivia in this masterpiece was inspired by that on Kitty-McGeeky97's Top 10 Crossover Pairings Meme and she ranked Fievel x Olivia at Number 1, and she would even join my very good friend, CyberDuke to create the group  which is dedicated to those who support this couple and I recommend joining.

The AAT/BTGMD pairing started off as a collaboration meme but has gained (and still NEEDS) much more of a following! The first ever Fievel x Olivia masterpiece was put up on DeviantArt by The-B-Meister on January 15, 2011 and was titled Fievel and Olivia, which would mark the start of this Let-It-Last-Forever crossover couple, which has since massively grown more and more in popularity and there are also videos of this pairing, most notably CyberDuke's romantically cute music mix of their themes mixed together*, and I would love to see more of this pairing which is why I rank Fievel x Olivia as My Number 1 Crossover Couple.

The four iconic structures behind Fievel and Olivia symbolising each other’s heritages are, from left to right, St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow (as Fievel and his family immigrated from Russia following the Pogroms), the Statue of Liberty in New York (as “An American Tail [1986]” is set in 1880s New York), The Houses of Parliament in London (as “The Great Mouse Detective [1986]” is set in 1890s London), and Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh (as Olivia and her father are Scottish)
